SlimDance UK would like to thank everyone that joined in and supported our Charity Summer Ball in Aid of The Joshua Foundation.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone that participated we were able to raise thousands of pounds for a very worthy cause.

There are so many superlatives for such an amazing occasion I could write pages but will try and keep it brief.

The Weather was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the location superb.

Gethin Jones as MC was brilliant, Juri and Jogoda our International Superstar dancers from Slovenia blew the audience away and Owen Money and the Soul Sharks had us rocking into the early hours!

A brave and beautiful young lady Hanna, fighting her own battle with cancer was our very special guest of honour and she smiled all night.

Leading up to this event over 250 people signed up to our SlimDance Latin Couples dance tuition course and the results have been amazing.

From never dancing before all the participants can now hold their own in the Cha Cha, Salsa, Rhumba and Jive. The eventual winners and a really popular couple were the dazzling Debbie and Steve Davies from Swansea.  Debbie is the HR manager at HSBC in Swansea and Steve is a police officer and they were superb.

Special thanks go to Sarah Cornelius and the Joshua Foundation for allowing us all to make a small contribution to lives of the courageous children and their families that have to deal with such a life shattering illness.
